Congratulations Jennifer Corriero!!

Jennifer, co-founder of TakingITGlobal, has joined the Digital Divide Taskforce initiative of the World Economic Forum.

When asked to give her 'secret to success' in 30 seconds, Jennifer said, "I am still defining success for myself, so I don't have any secrets. What I do have is a strong belief in the value of the work that I am doing. I am very committed to the vision of our organization and am inspired by those who get involved and make something meaningful out of what we have created"

What can youth expect from ICT/Digital Opportunities

Welcome to the new ICT and Digital Opportunities site for TakingITGlobal!

Many of you have probably seen or taken part in the TIG discussion posts on the Digital Divide and are aware of the technology drift when it comes to marginalized groups.

Here at TIG, we believe in giving youth an atmosphere and resource to inspire, inform, and involve. That’s why we have created this entirely new site devoted to bridging the digital divide. There are literally countless youth opportunities. You can join an active discussion on various ICT topics; click your way through +100 different organizations, or plan to attend an upcoming event or two.

Here's what youth members can expect to find in the next few days:
• TIG members will soon be able to identify themselves as interested in ICTs through their individual profiles.
• ICT featured members
• ICT relevant news
• Access to more relevant discussions, organizations, events and other interesting ICT related initiatives from around the world - directly from the ICT TIG homepage.

We are also creating a new interactive database full of initiatives and documents relating to ICT/Digital Opportunities – to help Youth refresh their ICT knowledge, create new ICT initiatives, and have fun exploring discussions.

The ICT TIG team welcomes all members to this new site and invites you to be more inspired, informed, and involved.
